Greenville Public Library is a member of the Lewis and Clark Library System. The library building is on the National Register of Historic Places. See website for more information.

Circulation: Books for 3 weeks, old periodicals, videos, and DVDs for 1 week

Books and audio books may be renewed, once only, in person

Current periodicals are not loaned out

limit on items loaned to one patron is 40 books and 3 media items

Story time: First Saturday of every month at 10am

Interlibrary loans: May be requested on line. No renewal. www.webcat.lcls.org

Genealogy holdings: These are made available by the Bond County Genealogy Society and are found on the lower level of the library.

Microfilm reader for: The Greenville Advocate, Bond County census records.

Internet for 15yrs and older. Those younger must have a parent sign for computer use.

Delivery and pick up is available for homebound patrons.

Copier available: $.20 per page.

Printer available: You may print from computers, $.25 per page.

Fax available: $2.00 for first page, $.50 per each additional page.

Group meetings may be arranged for this facility

Summer Reading Program: Programs for younger and older readers.

Summer Incentive Reading Program: June 1 - August 1. Children read for ice cream.

Public welcome at monthly Board of Trustees mtg each second Thursday, call for time.
Charges:

Free library cards for those living within city limits of Greenville.

Non-resident patrons card has an annual fee of $35.00 per family.

$0.10 is charged for each day printed material is over due.

Late videos and DVDs have a $1.00 fine per day.

$5.00 or more in fines must be paid in full before more material is checked out.

Lost books are charged at the actual cost, plus any applicable fines.

Donations are gratefully accepted.

Patrons 16years of age and under require a parent signature to obtain a card.
