Service: Counseling Services
Description:

The Prairie Counseling Center (PCC) is a community behavioral health clinic funded to provide comprehensive community based services for mental health. Our services are also available for substance abuse issues. The service area is Bond County as well as adjacent counties. The Center is partially funded by the Illinois Department of Human Services, Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse and Office of Mental Health.

Psychiatric Treatment (see a mental health nurse practitioner)
Case Management
Crisis Assessment
Mental Health Assessment
Substance Abuse Assessment
DUI Evaluation
Options that are currently not available but may come back:
Family Therapy
Marital Therapy
Substance Abuse Group Treatment

Also provide "Round the Clock" on-call mental health crisis intervention and screenings, starting in July. Also will go to the hospital on crisis call.


Charges:

You must pay a co-pay as required by your insurance. If you have no insurance, a sliding fee scale is available for some services with additional verified income information.


Eligiblity:

Ages 6 and up.

If you have a Medicaid card, you need to provide proof of income for each member of the household.


Insurance:

Medicaid, Medicare, or Private insurance.
