Service: Domestic Violence Services/Resources
Description:

24 hour residential program for battered women and children.  If in need of help, first call the hotline where you will be assessed and told how to proceed from there.
Mission: VPCSI works to eliminate domestic violence in individual lives and society as a whole.
Philosophy: At VPCSI we believe that all people have the right to be free from harm, to be respected, and to determine and pursue their own goals.

  • 24 hour hotline for domestic violence

  • Individual and group counseling for children and adults
  • Community outreach
  • Court and police advocacy
  • Information and referrals
  • Website: get help, get educated, get involved, teen information, links and resources, news and events, how to donate, and volunteer opportunities.
  • Shelter Shop: sells pre-owned clothing, furniture, and other items with money going to help support the services at VPCSWI.  The shop is run by volunteers and items are donated.  See above for location of shop.

None.


Eligiblity:

Women and their dependent children who are victims of emotional, physical, and sexual abuse.  Boys over 13 years of age will be referred to a youth shelter.
