Services: | Service: Appearance Care Resources for People with Cancer "Look Good Feel Better is dedicated to helping people with cancer cope with the appearance side effects of treatment. The program empowers women, men and teens around the world to reclaim the sense of control, confidence and self- esteem that are central to wellbeing. For more information, visit lookgoodfeelbetter.org. The Look Good Feel Better women's program is facilitated by trained beauty professionals and is delivered via Look Good Feel Better Live! Virtual Workshops or through in-person group workshops, and includes lessons on Skin Care and Makeup, Wigs and Head Coverings, Body Image, Wardrobe, and Styling, Scarf Tying Techniques, and Nail Care. Look Good Feel Better for Men is a practical guide to help men deal with some of the side effects of cancer treatment including skin changes, hair loss, stress, and other issues. Look Good Feel Better for Teens provides teens between the ages of 13 and 17 with helpful information on how to deal with lots of issues, including skin changes, hair loss, nutrition, fitness, and how to keep your social life on track while going through cancer treatment. In addition, the Look Good Feel Better website provides a robust resource that includes tips, videos and detailed information on combating side effects of cancer treatment.
